Over the course of the year I followed a blog ELECTORAL-VOTE.com which reported on the state by state Presidential and Senate polls.
Without getting into details on the method, suffice it to say that they used an average of the most recent polls for each state.
Note that there are are also what they call Rasmussen-free maps which do include the polls of the Rasmussen organization because of its alleged pro-GOP bias (as much as a consistent 3%)
This gallery are screen-shots I made from their Ipad app. These screen shops were taken on a non-systematic, occasional basis. Most are from Electoral-votes.com.
