Wallace Stevens often composed his poetry during his walk between his home in west Hartford to his office at the Hartford Fire Insurance Company.

One of his most famous poems ws "13 Ways of Looking at a Blackbird"

To commemorate this poem and Wallace Stevens, the Friends & Enemies of Wallace Stevens erected 13 Connecticut granite stones engraved with each of the stanzas.

We took the walk in November 2010 and these photographs illustrate that walk.
